The company was established in 1998 when Mercedes-Benz manufacturer Daimler-Benz acquired the US-based Chrysler Corporation. The company is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. After the acquisition the US company took the name Chrysler LLC. The company manufactures automobiles, as well as trucks, vans, buses and different components. Daimlerchrysler Corporation also provides financial services through its Daimler Financial Services.
