2008 Durango body rusted and Chrysler won't honor warranty
2008 Durango has 71000 miles and body rusting through below the gas filler above plastic skirting. I try to get it fixed through warranty, they tell me it won't be covered.
This is my second Chrysler product with body issues at a young age, the other was a 2005 grand caravan with hood rusting through in 2009. Chrysler didn't have a problem taking tax payer money to bail them out a few years ago, you would think they would do the right thing for customers.
I gave them the benefit of doubt with the rusted van, it seems now they just make an inferior product and don't want to make good. Thanks for nothing, it will be my last Chrysler product.
Why no recall on this crossover pipe?
i'm surprised that daimlerchrysler hasn't put a recall on the exhaust manifold crossover pipe on the 1998 plymouth grand voyager w/3.3l engine.
on line there are several complaints about the crossover pipe developing holes in the pipe thus causing exhaust fumes to seep into the passanger compartment,that complaints of asphyxiation have been posted on line.
please do something about this very dangerous and deadly part failure before death or serious illness occures, if it in fact hasn't already occured already. i know that daimlerchrysler is customer conscious and i hope that you do something.
Constant late fees and finance charges without responding to real problems
I leased a jeep vehicle back in 2002 and in 4 yrs paid off the lease. In that 4 year period chrysler financial charged me with late fees totaling hundreds of dollars and on many occassions threatened to reposses my vehicle if i did not pay.
After that I filed bancrupcy and refinanced the vehicle and did get a good deal at 7%. I did the paperwork and went to court and was still charged 17500 in legal fees and never spoke to an attorney with their company. two years ago they claimed I did not make a payment and began charging late fees every month for 2 years then threaten again to take the vehicle. After paying 1200.00 in payments and late fees they misapplied the payment and are misbilling me for the last 5 months incorrectly.
Every month I call and am told I will receive a corrected bill which has not happened. I just hung up on an *** who told me they cannot fix the problem and if I want to hire and attorney to get my title that I have the right to do so. They are incompetent idiots and they have no intention on fixing any problems. They use fake names so after you pay you can never find that person again and the truck is rusting around the back tail lights .
Not the first time Im told. That problem not fixable either.
They will not stand behind their products and are stealing money from their customers. You think they would use money from bailout to take care of their existing customers and not keep screwing them.

I received a document that asked me to provide historical stock prices and number of shares I held for the year 1999 for Diamler AG. However, when I try to locate the information, I cannot find it because historical quotes do not go back further than 10 years. This information is known throughout the corporate world, and I only received the correspondence this year (2010).
To say the least, I am having difficulty locating the information I require for my records and to fulfill their request. When I contacted the Bank of New York, not once did they indicate that this information cannot be provided due to the 10 year laspe in time.
Chrysler did not fulfill service contract
On May 11, 2007 I purchased a maintenance contractfrom Daimler Chrysler to cover the cost of all scheduled maintenance. This contract was for 3 yrs or 36,000 miles, whichever came first. I took my vehcile to the dealership for the 24,000 mile maintenance. Chrysler refused to pay the bill stating that my contract had expired. I am well under the mileage limitations of this contract and have NOT reached the 3 year mark.
I called Chrysler, figuring there was a mix up. They told me my contract ended in February 2010 and that's why it was denied. When I explained to them that is not possible they put me on hold and when they got back on the line they said the contract only covered 5 oil changes. Nowhere in my paperwork does it state that. I would never have purchased the contract if I was only allowed 5 oil changes in 3 yrs.
I have been a loyal Chrysler/Dodge customer for my enire adult life, but after this experience...I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from them!
Did a very unprofessional installation of a windshield and didn't correct it.
Used A Better Windshield to replace my cracked windshield.
The guy was only 1 hr and 20 minutes late, he didn't seal the windshield properly and didnt' put molding back correctly.
Air bag container on driver's side wasn't put back right.
Called and asked to get it fixed. I left a voice msg to call me when the guy got there so I could point out flaws, but they didn't.
Guy missed second appointment altogether. Then he showed up a day later, left me a card on the windshield saying he fixed it, which he DID NOT. However, they were quick to cash my check.
Put me in collections 4 months after leased truck returned
Reimbursement check for repairs bounced!
Had power window problem, like thousands of other jeep owners, should be a recall. Paid over $200 to repair one window, they said I had to replace the entire window at an additional cost just because it would come off the track.
They sent me a check for $88 which bounced. Not to mention the fee from my bank. Then they outsource my calls to India. Been loyal customer for years with many jeep vehicles.
Never again. Now for some reason other auto dealers wont take my tradeins just because they are jeep.
I feel ripped off by jeep. wtf

I'm not sure if I can explain this situation in fewer than one hundred words, but here I go. On June 04, 2008 I went to Schaumburg Kia in Schaumburg IL, and looked a used vehicle. I asked them if they wouldn't mind not running a credit check on me that day.
Everyone was in agreement, so they had me sign a spot delivery agreement which stated I had a five-day contingency. (I have the original of the spot delivery agreement).
Everything was done legally; they contacted a bank and gave me an interest rate, a monthly payment, monthly terms, and a final payout and I signed a retail installment agreement. The spot delivery agreement was to insure they had the five days in case anything popped up with my credit bureau. Is my credit the greatest? No, but it was good enough to obtain a loan on a vehicle.
To speed this situation up, Brian their finance manager stated, Mr. Sottile if you don't here from us in five days, everything is good so just look for your loan payment booklet by the end of June 2008.
The five days came and went, so I assumed as I was told everything was OK. Around the nineteenth of June 2008 I received a message that was at best scratchy and vague. It stated something is wrong with your loan. I contacted them via e-mail and stated what’s going on, the contingency was bypassed? I then mailed a copy of the original spot delivery agreement on June 20,2008 figuring maybe they had forgotten about the contingency.
Here is were it gets crazy, On June 24,2008 two gentlemen from Schaumburg Kia show up at my home and state you a loser, your a liar, and your credit ***. My mom was at the house and she is sixty -seven years old, so she came out and said what's going on here? They then called her old Mother Hubbard, and a fat ***. (Sorry for the language). My mother isn’t heavy.
To finalize this quickly, I have come to find out that they used my social security number with my birth name, and then they tried to loan me under an alias. They have destroyed my credit, so I can't purchase a vehicle to save my soul. I have hard copy evidence to prove this.
Schaumburg Kia then forged a spot delivery agreement with my signature, and entered it into a legal court proceeding which stated their was never any amount of days pertaining to a contingency, then there attorney from Debra Ashen's office in Chicago Il, stated in court that I indeed was given a five day contingency. Please note prior to court I sent Ms. Ashen at least fifteen faxes which stated your exhibit (B) is a forgery, I have every fax and fax transmission sheet I sent her.
Here is a question, then were did Schaumburg Kia's spot delivery agreement come from? In their pleading they stated I walked into their dealership stated I had a 700 credit rating, I was refinancing a home, and they were going to wait fifteen days prior to running a credit check on me. One thing, Brian their finance manager is also a mortgage broker, so wouldn't you think if their pleading is correct, he would've been smart enough to ask, Mr. Sottile can I see some refinancing papers or bank papers. You guessed it he never did.
One last thing, they didn't run a credit checks on me for over fifteen days, yet their attorney stated in a court of law that I was give a five day contingency.
I gave the vehicle back, why? Schaumburg Kia continually threatened to steal the vehicle, and it is much simpler to sue. I went to the KIA Corporation in Irvine California and talked to Marjorie Beards, and I told her no one wins here if I sue, can you become involved and help? Her response was sorry anti-trust laws.
What does anti-trust law have to do with consumer fraud and perjury? Please note this is not a lie, and I have factual evidence to prove every one of my claims. I would be more than happy to share them with anyone.
One last thing, the police were called on June 24,2008 when the two gentlemen came to my home trying to repossess the vehicle, the police told them, I'm sure you already know, you bypassed the contingency and your not touching his car.

I do understand that my account was in default. The account was not 30 days yet at all.
When I asked about mailing a payment in so I did not have to pay a convenience fee of $9.95, the rep actually put the "Account Supervisor" on he phone and she told me that "I did not have a choice to mail it in".
I told her I would call back this afternoon she asked me in a very smart way "Why?? what's the difference in paying it now if you were going to mail it?
Why do you have to call back?" which was none of her business so she did not get a reply, I just hung up in her face.

Your gripe should be with Daimler. They cheapened the steel to squeeze every cent out if chrysler. This is fact.
